Woke up right inside of Texas and where still driving through it! We where trying to get the Velodrome in Frisco because their is Friday Night Racing there and we wanted to get a chance to ride there but we couldn't make it in time, thanks to our rear left side tire blowing out -_- But we ended up going for a ride while the motor home was getting fixed. We where stopped in this little town called Big Springs and this place was HOT! (Fact , NOT complaint) We looked at the weather and it said it was 104 degrees but that was at 12 and it just got hotter and hotter! Their was this slight breeze that would gust pretty hard every now and then , but the problem with the wind was that it was hot , not refreshing wind. Kind of like when someone is breathing on you. But we went for our ride around town, it was really neat ,abandoned gas stations , ancient brick school houses. We would get these looks from people like "WTF" . Like they have never seen a cyclist before, or maybe they where just flabbergasted that anyone would be out in the heat. Eric got a flat going over this sewer drain thing and he had a saddle bag with 3 tubes (:.... that all had holes in them-_- so Tony and I rode back to the Motor home and got some tubes . Eric patched his tube and we rode back to the motor home and got on the road again!
I started to get dinner ready , I made Nachos! Got 4 pounds of ground turkey and cooked it. I pored beans in the bowl and put it back in the oven and continued to cook it until all the meat turned brown. I put chips on a plate then added the meat with beans , put cheese on it and put the plate in the microwave to melt the cheese real quick. So it's now 11:13 here and we are 50 miles away from Frisco,Texas. I think we are going to sleep somewhere around here, and then go check out the Velodrome in the morning.
I don't think anyone has gotten to that point where there super bored but i can feel that , that time is coming haha! So thanks for reading , I've taken a bunch of picture so as soon as i learn how to post them I will. BYE
